Currently, hospitals are running low on medical supplies needed to not only keep patients safe but medical staff healthy as well. Thanks to craft-lovers found all over the nation and JOANN’s fabric and craft stores – materials, sewing machines and guidance is being offered to assist healthcare facilities in need.
JOANN will provide and donate 100 percent of the supplies needed to make essentials items like hospital gowns, facemasks, and covers, and offer their classroom space to make these items. All they need is willing sewing enthusiasts, of any skill level, to put it all together.
Classroom occupancy will be limited to adhere to the CDC-recommended guidelines for social distancing and local restrictions, and Team Members will ensure continuous sanitization of materials and spaces, as well as the rest of the store.
