Northwestern Michigan College Closing Campus

Updated at 10: 28 a.m. – Following the news of Traverse City’s first case of coronavirus, Northwestern Michigan College is now closing all NMC campuses.

The closure goes into effect Tuesday, March 17, at noon. The college will remain closed for two weeks, including the main campus and University Center.

The school says it will continue classes via virtual learning, but all face-to-face labs have been canceled. All safe, excluding ‘essential employees’ will be sent home at noon.
