BREAKING: Gov. Whitmer to Close Dine-In Services for Bars, Restaurants
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer plans to close bars and restaurants for dine-in service.
She told 9&10 News in an exclusive interview, her first one-on-one since declaring a state of emergency last Tuesday.
The only service will be delivery or take out.
This comes after the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says it has confirmed 53 total coronavirus cases in Michigan.
So far there have been no cases of the virus confirmed in Northern Michigan. One patient is from Charlevoix County, but the woman had flown internationally and didn’t head back up north after her trip.
The bar and restaurant closure will take effect at 3 p.m. Monday.
