Bay Mills Resort & Casino to Close Friday Due to Coronavirus Crisis

Bay Mills Indian Community is making changes to its resort and casino.

Since they are on tribal land they do not have to follow the governor’s executive orders, but the casino is still working to do its part to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

The tribe says all dine-in services will stop March 16, allowing them to still use room service and curbside pick-up.

Bay Mills Resort and Casino will then close this Friday and will stay closed until April 10.

Kings Club Casino is also closed for the foreseeable future.

Four Seasons Grocery Store will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. During the hours of 10 a.m. and noon, the store will be open to elders age 55 and up only.

During the shutdown, resort and casino employees can use their PTO to be paid.

The tribe will then pay the employees on their second pay period.
