Michigan Dep. of Corrections Starts New Screening Plan as Coronavirus Concerns Grow

The Michigan Department of Corrections is taking measures to keep inmates safe from the virus.

Anyone entering a prison will have to answer screening questions and may have their temperature checked.

Communities with outbreaks could even consider stopping visits.

If that happens, prisoners will have more phone time.

MDOC also says they’re upping their cleaning tactics.
