Northern Michigan Manufacturing Summit Focuses on New Technology
Manufacturing companies and Northwestern Michigan College students came to the conference to learn more about new technology in the field.
This year there were lots of hands on demonstrations and some even got hands on experience with entering commands on robots.
“American manufacturing really competes on technology right, so we’re one more productive labor forces globally so technology is super important for that and in continuing to be pragmatic about how you implement technology in your business and stay in front of the competition is really critical to a long-term success,” said Robert Summers, GT Area Manufacturing Council chairman.
About 120 people attended the conference.
