Three Men Sentenced to Prison in Houghton Lake Murder
The three men charged with killing a Roscommon County man more than a year ago are headed to prison.
Deputies were called to a home in Houghton Lake in January of last year for a man who had been shot.
That man was John Dirette.
He later died at the hospital.
Levi Seelye, Jordan Tetro and Keante Grays were all charged with Dirette’s murder.
They all eventually pleaded guilty to second degree murder.
Seelye was sentenced on Tuesday to at least 23 years in prison, Tetro at least 20 years and Grays to at least 13 and a half years.
Seth Medendorp and Travis Forbes were also charged this month with aiding and abetting to both open murder and an assault with intent to rob while armed.
Both also face a firearms charge.
