Spring isn’t far off but the winter weather will surely hold on for the next few months. That’s why Crooked Tree Arts Center in Traverse City has activities planned for the whole family to get out of the cold and instead take part in some artwork. They’re also planning ahead for their spring arts camp for the kids.
People can also come to the center and listen to speakers through their “Coffee @ Ten” speaker series. Guests speakers come in once a month to talk about a specific art medium. The public is welcome to listen to the free lecture and presentation. The center is known for its exhibits that appeal to people of all ages and include community artwork. They’re currently showcasing students’ artwork from school districts across northern Michigan through Mar. 14.
