Coronavirus Crisis: 14 Evacuees Test Positive for Coronavirus
Cases of the coronavirus are growing in the U.S.
Fourteen of the 300 people evacuated from a cruise ship off the coast of Japan tested positive for the virus.
After about two weeks of being stuck on the Diamond Princess cruise ship—the U.S. government sent two chartered planes to evacuate the American passengers.
State department officials say the infected passengers were held in isolation during the flights home and will continue to be isolated in the U.S.
The other returning travelers will be under a 14-day quarantine at military bases in Texas and California.
