Two People Arrested For Assault With Intent to Commit Murder in Grayling

Two people are being held in the Crawford County Jail after investigators say they tried to shoot and run someone over.

Central dispatch received a call Saturday night in Grayling that a man was shot and needed medical help.

When deputies found the man, he told them a truck tried to run him over before it got stuck.

He also said the two people inside jumped and chased him.

They fire a single shot at the man which missed.

Officers say they found “numerous” weapons in the truck.

A man and a woman were arrested for Assault with Intent to Commit Murder and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

The sheriff’s office believes narcotics were a factor in this incident.
