Michigan DNR Licensing System Temporarily Down During Upgrade

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources says their system for selling licenses, permits and applications is down.

It is temporarily closed while they are working on upgrading to a new system.

It is set to going live Tuesday, Feb. 18 at noon.

New features will include barcode scanners to instantly upload customer information, the ability to stack multiple licenses on a physical card and improved security.

While the system is down, anglers will not need a license during Free Fishing Weekend (Feb. 15-16) as well as Monday.
