Local Fraternal Order of Eagle’s Auxiliary Hosts Fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Foundation

A Traverse City group hosted one of its biggest fundraisers in a decade to help grant wishes for children in need.

A local chapter of the Fraternal Order of Eagle’s Ladies Auxiliary is throwing an all-night party with proceeds going to Make-A-Wish.

Auxiliary 383 has been taking donations for the nonprofit all month.

On Saturday they’ll be hosting a dinner with raffles, a band and speakers from Make-A-Wish.

The group says they’re well on track to help grant a wish with all the support they already have.

Brenda Galla, secretary of Fraternal Order of Eagle’s Ladies Auxiliary 383, says, “We’re pretty close already to granting a wish. So I’m hoping by the end of tonight it would be pretty awesome to be able to grant two wishes, locally.”

The party starts at 4 p.m and will go until midnight.

The address to the event is 409 W 14th St., in Traverse City.

Admission is free and dinner tickets are $12 at the door.
