Harvey Weinstein’s Sexual Assault Trial Wraps Up in New York
Prosecutors are giving their closing arguments Friday in Harvey Weinstein’s sexual assault trial in New York.
They are looking to focus the jury’s attention back on the victims, who gave harrowing testimonies of alleged rapes, lewd propositions, and casting couch excuses.
He is charged with sexually assaulting two women, one in 2006 and another in 2013.
Weinstein’s lawyers argued that the two woman accusing him are opportunists who willingly latched on to the once-powerful producer and had sex with him because they thought it would help their careers.
Weinstein is also facing rape charges in California.
