MTM On the Road: Traverse City’s 1st Mobile Flower Shop, Cart and Posie Flowers

Instead of buying a pre-made flower bouquet, build your own this Valentine’s Day.

On Feb. 13 at West Bay Handmade in Traverse City will be a pop up shop with Cart and Posie Flowers starting at 11 a.m.

Cart and Posie Flowers is a Traverse City’s first and only mobile flower shop. They offer customers the experience of creating their own bouquets based on their personal styles and budgets. All flowers are priced per stem.

“I created Cart and Posie Flowers to modernize the flower shop experience and to get more people to spread love and kindness through flowers,” said owner Maire Lajko.

The flower cart will debut this spring and will be available for outdoor pop-up events across Northern Michigan.

If you need a gift to go along with the bouquet, West Bay Handmade is your one-stop-shop for gifts, cards, and more. They have more than 50 artisans from Northern Michigan and are in a new location on Front Street in Traverse City.

Start your Thursday with Regan Blissett and photojournalist Stephanie Adkins as they create their own bouquet for Valentine’s Day.
