Cadillac Rocks: Local Group Paints, Hides and Finds Creative Rocks
There is nothing quite like spending quality time with the ones you love and the Baller family in Cadillac chooses to spend their time together crafting at the kitchen table.
This young family is part of a movement to spread kindness through a growing Facebook group called “Cadillac Rocks”. Trina Baller, an active member of this group says, “We’re trying to bring some brightness and some awareness. Sometimes we write bible verses, little simple quotes— anything to bring a smile to someone’s face.”
This online group started small but grew to nearly 2,000 people who actively paint, hide and find rocks— making the days of their neighbors, friends and complete strangers. “Sometimes you just paint something or leave it and you don’t know why you painted it and later you find out it meant so much to a random person and I think it’s just really neat,” explains Trina.
This is free, creative fun that your kids can take part in year-round. Skyler at just 6 years old says she loves to paint and hide rocks simply because “It makes other people happy!”
