Green Acres of Cadillac Holds Support Meetings for Early On-Set Dementia Patients

Nearly 5 percent of the 5 million American’s diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimers are young or early-onset patients and the diagnosis can be scary.

LIVE on ‘the four’ was Heather Lorkowski of Green Acres in Cadillac to talk about a new support group meeting right in Cadillac.

They are meeting on the second Friday of every month at the Green Acres in Cadillac to help people who have been diagnosed with early-onset dementia. The meetings are from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and there is no charge to participate. During the meeting time, they will provide a light lunch and a group led discussion by Dr. Steve Osborne.
