Adopt A Pet Tuesday: Rex, Austin & Pawpawsaurus

It’s Adopt a Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!

This week we have Rex, Austin and Pawpawsaurus–just three of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.

Meet Rex. He’s a German shepherd and Akita mix.

This handsome guy came to the Great Lakes Humane Society after his owner passed away from a long illness. He loves to be petted and he’d also be happy in a home with other dogs.

He’d prefer not to live with kids.

If you are looking for a purebred, Austin might be a right up your alley.

He’s a Labrador retriever who came to Osceola County Animal Control direct from a breeder who is no longer breeding.

Austin has a ton of love to give and prefers to be the only dog in the home.

If you are in search of a cat, what about Pawpawsaurus?

This guy is at the American Rescue Coalition of Mecosta County in Big Rapids.

He’s a 10-year-old neutered male. This fella was scared and shy went he first came to the ARC, but now he’s a purr machine who would love to serenade you at home.

Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
