The Interlochen Public Library will be serving soup, bread, and desserts on Wednesday night, all to benefit the library.

The soup supper will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

It cost $10 per person or $20 per family to attend.

All of the money raised will go to the library for services and other expenses.

They say it is important for them to hold events the community will enjoy.

“We like to have them around and take part in this building, they built it after all, with funds from the community and grants and we want to do events that are interesting to them and fun for them and help us in the long-run,” said Library Director Renee Kelchak.

The library has many more events planned this year, including a valentines book sale coming up in February.
