Flags Ordered to Fly at Half-Staff for Fallen Soldier’s Funeral
Flags will be flown at half-staff on Thursday for the funeral of a fallen soldier.
U.S. Army Specialist Bradley Walsh, born in Kalamazoo, was in his third year of active duty when he died on Jan. 8 at age 21.
He was stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia.
Walsh was a soon-to-be father who grew up in Hillman and graduated from Otsego Adult Education in 2017.
His funeral service on Thursday will be held at First Baptist Church. Walsh will be laid to rest at Harwick Cemetery in Mattawan, Michigan.
