Take the Plunge with Special Olympics Michigan

It is the season of the polar plunge and people all across the state are taking the cold dive into a frozen lake near them.

We were LIVE with Special Olympics Michigan marketing and communications director, Aaron Mills, to talk about how you can get involved in their upcoming polar plunges.

Each year, thousands of Michigan locals are challenged to take the cold plunge into freezing water for the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge series. It’s a great way for people to come together and support Special Olympics Michigan. All funds raised go directly towards year-round sports training and competitions for these Special Olympians.

Participants are challenged to raise a minimum of 75 dollars to take the dip at one of 30 locations across the state.
