Russians Accused of Hacking Ukrainian Company at Center of Impeachment

Cybersecurity researchers say Russian hackers gained access to a Ukrainian gas company at the center of President Trump’s impeachment case.

They say military hackers from Russia tricked employees of Burisma Holdings into giving up their computer credentials.

Online security firm Area One says the hackers are from the same group that hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee and Hilary Clinton’s campaign during the 2016 presidential race.

Many experts agree the hack was an attempt by the Kremlin to smear presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
