Toyota Recalling Nearly 700,000 Vehicles Over Fuel Pump Issue

Toyota is recalling nearly 700,000 vehicles in the U.S. because of a fuel pump issue.

The company says the fuel pumps in the recalled vehicles can fail and cause engines to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

The recall covers several models, including certain Camrys, Highlanders, Land Cruisers and Lexus models.

Toyota is still working on developing repairs for the issue.

The company says it will notify owners by mail in mid-March.
