Dairy Truck Crashes Near Reed City Homes
A full dairy truck traveling east on U.S. 10 left the road Monday morning around 10:30 a.m.
The truck and its cargo slid several hundred feet coming very close to homes, before it finally stopped.
“We don’t sleep in the back bedroom during the winter time because that’s something that we’ve actually been afraid of since we moved in here was somebody coming off and hitting. Its feet away from that from that room. If he was to hit then it wouldn’t probably just be a room, the damage probably went all the way through the house,” said Rocky Mims.
It’s unclear why the truck left the road.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
