Local Student Meets Chief the Dispatch Cat While Fulfilling Christmas Deed

We highlighted a great student who donated his Christmas money from his grandparents to an animal shelter drive.

Kegan Holmquist is a 13-year-old from Reed City Middle School.

He dropped off the donation to dispatch and wanted to meet the dispatch cat, Chief, but he was at a vet appointment.

So his grandparents, Reed City PD, Reed City Fire, Michigan State Police, Osceola County EMS, and dispatch decided to make his day extra special by giving him a tour of all the facilities and of course introducing him to Chief.

We are sending out a big thank you for all you are doing, Kegan. Keep up the great work!
