We first introduced you to the Wiltshire family back in November, when they were working on their signature “Mug Cakes” that they sell at a holiday craft show in order to raise money to support their local animal shelter. They raised $200 and made their way to the Meijer in Big Rapids to purchase the supplies.

At just 4 and 6 years old, Clint and Josie Wiltshire were picking out dog food, toys, bleach, etc. going to support the Osceola Animal Shelter. Sadie Wiltshire, their mother is hoping this annual family fundraiser serves as a lesson in compassion for her children. “I just think actions speak louder than words. I want to teach my kids kindness more than anything,” explains Sadie.

During their annual shopping trip, Meijer was gracious enough to gift them with a $100 gift card going to support their mission. After purchasing the supplies they made their way to the Osceola Animal Shelter to drop off their donations. Sadie says, “It was very emotional. I’m always so emotional on this day because it’s seeing their hard work come to an end.”
