Wellness for the Family: New Year’s Resolutions
Year after year, many people choose January 1st to make changes in their lives.
Michelle met with registered dietitian Grace Derocha of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to talk about how you can make that goal a reality this year.
She gave us a couple of quick tips about creating a resolution and ways to stay on track in this week’s Wellness for the Family.
She has a concept called SMARTE goal setting which means to set a goal that is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely, and Exciting/Enjoyable.
Grace said that making a goal that is not only attainable but also adjustable is very important which means you can increase or decrease the goal based on your personal needs and wants.
