The Michigan State Police say one person is dead after an early-morning house fire on Sunday.
Central dispatch received the call just before 4:30 a.m. Troopers were the first to arrive at the house on Lakeview Drive in Alpena Township.
They found it was already engulfed in flames.
After fire crews put out the blaze, one body was found in the home.
The identity of the victim is not being released until next-of kin is notified.
