Fire fighters say no one was hurt after a structure fire Thursday night in Alpena.
The department says crews went to a two story house on Miler Street around 8:45 p.m.
They say they found the home fully engulfed in flames.
Fire crews were able to put it out but there was heavy damage to the structure.
Neighboring buildings were also damaged by the heat and smoke.
The department says no one was home but the family’s two dogs were lost in the fire.
The cause is still under investigation.
