Salvation Army Wraps Up Matching Mondays; Surpasses Goal of $30,000

The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign is a true sign of the holiday season and the Traverse City Office says they exceeded their expectations on Matching Monday.

Initial reports show the Red Kettle Campaign raised $33,000 on Monday surpassing the $30,000 goal.

The bell ringers stayed out around Traverse City until 2 on Tuesday.

The Salvation Army says they’re grateful for the community’s generosity in donating as well as those who rang bells.
