Gaylord is in the snowbelt of Northern Michigan making it a destination for winter enthusiasts.
This weekend hit the slopes at for free!
The Gaylord Area Convention & Tourism Bureau, along with Treetops Resort welcome winter with this annual weekend of free skiing!
All people have to do is book lodging in Gaylord and overnight guests will receive a free lift ticket for one day of skiing at no cost.
Free skiing begins on Friday, Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. and continues throughout the day on both Saturday and Sunday. Whether you’re snowboarding or skiing, the lift ticket is free!
On Dec. 14 there will also be a free Learn to Ski Clinic where people can learn how to ski!
Every Saturday during the winter will be Treetop’s skiable feast where people can cross country ski through trails and visit gourmet food and drinks stop along the way. This adventure is a 3.8 mile excursion.
