Attorneys General Urge Congress to Take Action Against Fentanyl

Attorney’s General from every state including Michigan are urging congress to take action against drugs.

Dana Nessel and her colleagues want to permanently classify fentanyl related substances as schedule one drugs.

That means the drug doesn’t have an accepted medical use and has a high potential to be abused.

The Fight Fentanyl Act is to make sure law enforcement agencies and courts have the tools needed to keep fentanyl off the streets.

Attorneys general from every state, territory and the District of Columbia endorsed this bill.
