See The Nutcracker with Interlochen Arts Academy Ballet

Christmas shows are in full swing and no winter season would be complete without The Nutcracker.

Michelle was at the Interlochen Arts Academy to learn all about their upcoming performance and how their lead dancers are taking on some big roles. Director of Dance, Joseph Morrissey works each year to make this show new, fun, and exciting for guests by introducing new props, costumes, and of  course dancers.

His two lead dancers, An Phan and Emma Skrzypczak are taking on the roles of the nutcracker prince and the sugarplum fairy. An Phan is a junior at the academy but will be graduating early and you can see just why at their opening night performance on Thursday, Dec. 12.
