FBI Investigating Deadly Naval Air Station Shooting as Act of Terrorism

The FBI says it’s now investigating the deadly shooting at the naval air station in Pensacola, Florida, as an act of terrorism.

On Friday, the alleged gunman killed three American airmen, before he was killed by two sheriff’s deputies.

Investigators say he was a second lieutenant in the Royal Saudi Air Force, and was a naval flight officer in training.

According to US officials, the shooter appeared to have been harboring anti-U.S. and extremist views.

Now the FBI is trying to figure out if he acted alone.

The FBI says agents have collected surveillance videos, and videos taken by a bystander as part of the investigation.
