Operations Good Cheer Delivers Gifts to Michigan Foster Kids
Operation Good Cheer collects gifts then wraps them up for a very special holiday surprise.
On Saturday, the group put all those gifts on small planes and flew them out to rural airports in Michigan.
These presents will now be distributed to foster children.
Eagle Village in Reed City will receive hundreds of gifts for their kids.
These presents seem to mean more for these boys and girls looking for their next home.
“One of the girls was just sitting there unwrapping this present really slow and so Kathy asked her what was going on,” said
Chad Saxton of Eagle Village. “She said well my mom was able to do things for us but she was never able to buy us Christmas present so this is the first Christmas present I’ve ever got.”
Every child at eagle village will be getting three to four Christmas gifts this year.
