Texas Chemical Plant Explosion: Residents Asked to Evacuate a 2nd Time
A second voluntary evacuation order in a week has been issued for Port Neches, Texas following a chemical plant explosion.
People living in Port Neches were asked to leave after the TPC chemical plant exploded last Wednesday due to high chemical levels in the air.
They were told they could return home two days later.
But now the city is asking residents within a four mile radius of the plant to stay somewhere else after the city found high levels of butadiene TPC has not yet said what caused the explosion.
