Sitting in your office chair all day long can put some serious strain on your neck and back, that’s why we brought in an expert to tell you how to stay well in the workplace on this Wellness Wednesday.

We had physical therapist Damon Whitfield from Harbor Springs Therapy and Wellness to learn how you can relieve this pain by choosing the right chair, stretching, taking breaks, and using good posture.

He touched on the use of ball chairs and how they can help you to engage your core and sit in a more up-right position which is better for your back and neck.

Plus, he talked about ways to remind yourself to take a second, breathe, stretch, and sit up straight to help engage the muscles in your neck, back, and shoulders.
