Wisconsin High School Student Shot After Pulling Gun

Students and parents in Wisconsin are recovering this morning after a high school student was shot by a police officer for pulling a gun.

Police were tipped off early in the morning by a student at Waukesha High School that one of their classmates had a gun.

When the school resource officer confronted the student he pulled the hand gun from his waistband.

A second officer pulled his gun and shot the student before he could get a shot off.

Police say the student is recovering in the hospital in stable condition.

A second student at a high school across town was also detained yesterday for carrying a gun.
