Jury Selection of State Rep. Larry Inman Begins

Jury selection for the trial involving State Rep. Larry Inman begins Tuesday in federal court.

The lawmaker representing Grand Traverse County is charged with attempted bribery, extortion and lying to the FBI.

Investigators say Inman tried to sell his vote when the Michigan House voted on repealing the prevailing wage law.

Inman has denied any wrongdoing, but his attorney argues he had a diminished cognitive ability because of long-term opioid use.

Again, jury selection in the trial is set to begin today.
