Three People Arrested for Retail Fraud and Meth in Mecosta County

Deputies in Mecosta County have arrested three people after a retail fraud warrant led to the discovery of meth.

The sheriff’s office says they were called to the village of Morley on Friday.

They say they found a man wanted for retail fraud as he attempted to drive off in an unregistered vehicle.

Deputies say after they arrest him, they went to a nearby property connected to the suspect.

The sheriff’s office says they found another man wanted by law enforcement at the home.

They also say they found a stash of meth the first suspect had hidden.

Deputies says after using a search warrant to gather more evidence, they discovered more than $1,000 worth of stolen property.

Both men were arrested for possession of meth.

The wife of one of the suspects was also arrested for theft.

The sheriff’s office says all three suspects’ names will be released after they have been arraigned.
