Talking Trash: BaaBaaZuZu
On average around 26-billion pounds of textiles and clothes end up in landfills. That’s why during ‘Talking Trash” on the four, we’re focused to showcasing a northern Michigan business that’s trying to make an eco-fashion statement with their up-cycled sweaters, gloves, hats and other outerwear.
BaaBaaZuZu based in Leelanau County is considered a pioneer when it comes to the up-cycled sweater movement. They take old, unwanted materials including wool from places like Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan and turn them into handcrafted and transformed clothes and accessories.
