Wellness for the Family: Thanksgiving Day Portions

With Thanksgiving just around the corner that means lots of food. We passed the plate to Michelle who joined registered dietitian Grace Derocha from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to tell us about some of the ways we can save some calories on Thanksgiving Day.

The average American has 4,500 calories on Thanksgiving Day which is two to three times the amount of calories you should have in a day. Grace showed us how to control our portions appropriately and still enjoy Thanksgiving dinner.
