“They’re a team of two in everything they do!”
You can find Barb and Les Anderson at Lucky Jack’s in Traverse City almost any day of the week. They bowl here at least 3 or 4 days a week because they simply love the sport. They have been bowling together for nearly 5 decades– since they first met.
“We’re very lucky. To be able to do everything together and have lots of things to do,” explains Les.
Les at age 87 and Barb at 77, they’ve had plenty of years to perfect their craft. They are in several leagues and take part in special tournaments.
Les has become so good that last August he bowled his first ever perfect 300. This accomplishment is serving as a friendly reminder. Les says, “Get off the couch and do something!”
