Big Rapids Police Arrested Two People from Chicago for Using Counterfeit Cash

Police released the names of a man and woman accused of using fake $100 bills in Big Rapids.

Police arrested two people from Chicago, Daveon Williams and Dajana Ramse, after trying to use counterfeit cash at Big Rapids businesses.

Deputies say it appears one dollar bills were bleached and made to look like $100 bills.

Williams and Ramsey are each being charged with three counts of counterfeiting.

Each charge carries up to 14 years in prison.
