Certain Bars and Restaurants Liquor Deliveries Delayed Due to Software Issues

An issue with one of Michigan’s liquor distribution companies is creating pre-holiday headaches for some bars and restaurants.

Republic National Distribution Co. recently moved into a new warehouse in Livonia.

They say software problems at this location is causing deliveries to get delayed.

Republic is one of just three authorized distribution agents in the state.

The Michigan Liquor Control Commission has met with restaurants and retailers who have complained about the problem.

The commission says they are holding Republic National accountable.

They says they want to make sure stores can get their shelves stocked before the holiday season.

Republic says they are doing everything they can to get things fixed.
