Salvation Army Begins Red Kettle Campaign in Northern Michigan

The Salvation Army is preparing to start their annual Red Kettle campaign in northern Michigan.

Some will see bell ringers out and about this weekend.

The Salvation Army in Cadillac will start their Red Kettle season next Thursday.

the campaign, along with other Christmas fundraisers help The Salvation Army raise about a third of the money they need for their programs throughout the year.

“One of the things that we say is every little change can make a change. So we really look to being part of that change in helping and giving a hand up to families in need throughout the year,” said Captain R.C. Duskin.

The Red Kettle campaign runs until Christmas Eve.
