Michigan House Committee Approves Daylight Saving Time Legislation
State Representative Michele Hoitenga’s bill to remain in daylight saving time year-round was approved by the House Commerce and Tourism Committee Thursday.
The bill will now move to the House Ways and Means Committee for further consideration.
Rep. Hoitenga says studies show the time change is bad for students and workers alike.
She added the practice is “antiquated, impractical, and serves no real purpose.”
