SwingShift and the Stars 2019: Round 2, Lip-Sync Battle

It’s getting cold across Northern Michigan, but things just heated up for SwingShift and the Stars in Traverse City.

There have been two shows in 2019 so far, and Events Coordinator Sherry Galbraith says the eight nonprofits have collectively raised more than $245,000 at this point.

“They have worked so very hard,” she says. “And we’re really, really excited about that outcome for them.”

But it’s not over yet.

Judy Harrison says the organizations are gearing up for their next two lip-sync performances.

The first lip-sync is on Nov. 15, featuring Bethany Christian Services, Single MOMM, Spark in the Dark and Upbound at Work.

And the final performance featuring four other nonprofits in December.

Tickets can be found at the Traverse City Opera House and through each individual organization. Or purchase them online at swingshiftandthestars.org.
