What’s Happening in Northern Michigan: Wicked Weekend, Short’s Halloween Party, Trunk ‘R Treat

Halloween is just a week away, and many communities across the area are holding holiday events you won’t want to miss out on.

Courtney Sheffer with the has the details on What’s Happening in Northern Michigan.

Head to Petoskey for its on October 25 & 26.

Start with a Haunted Halloween Feast at Stafford’s Perry Hotel, followed by a ghostly game night.

On Saturday, there’s a costume parade and trick-or-treating downtown.

Bring your own carving tools to carve a pumpkin in the park, and then take the jack ‘o’ lantern walk at dusk.

Make sure to wear your best costume for a chance to win prizes!

Float on down to Short’s Brewing Company in Bellaire on October 26 for its annual !

The party kicks off at 5 p.m. with spooky themed food specials, and a supernatural tap list.

Hang out into the night to see The Insiders take the stage to perform at 9 p.m.

And don’t forget to dress in your Halloween finest and compete in the annual costume contest for your chance to win a mug club membership!

Enjoy the Halloween festivities at the Village at Bay Harbor during its 11th annual !

Village merchants, Bay Harbor residents, emergency response, and area businesses will all be a part of the fun passing out treats October 31, from 4-5 p.m.

Bring your kids in their costumes for a fun, safe trick or treating experience.
