Conservation Officer Honored with Lifesaving Award

The Michigan DNR honored Conservation Officer Jeff Ginn with a Lifesaving Award, and it’s not his first time.

In 2013 he helped find a missing two-year-old girl.

Last November, Ginn responded to a medical emergency involving a 75-year-old man at a Newaygo hotel.

They say he found the man not breathing and without a pulse.

Ginn use a portable AED and performed chest compressions to restart the man’s heart.

On their way to the hospital, the man regained a pulse.

He woke up the next day.

This is the fourth time Ginn has been awarded for his actions.
