We now know when the trial will begin for a man accused of killing his wife more than 40 years ago.
We first told you about Richard Pierce last fall when he was arrested in Cheboygan.
Police say pierce he killed his wife Carol Jean, who had been missing for about four decades.
Around that same time, Pierce moved from Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, to Michigan.
Pierce was charged with first-degree murder, however he pleaded not guilty to the murder.
He is now set to start a four week trial in August of 2020.
